COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON BASEBALL CAMP PRESENTS: WINTER SKILLS CAMP • JANUARY 13, 2024 ***If you are a catcher sign up for the Pitcher/Catcher skills camp. You can do both and will receive the same feedback and reps as you would in the first camp, this will allow us to see you catch live arms.
CAMP 1: WINTER POSITION PLAYER SKILLS CAMP
This camp is designed with a strong instructional focus, led by our expert coaching staff that boasts years of experience. What sets this camp apart is our commitment to leveraging the latest technological advancements to elevate your game. We are excited to announce that we will be integrating state-of-the-art tools such as Blast Motion and TrackMan into our training regimen. These innovative technologies will provide unparalleled insights into your performance, enabling you to refine your skills with precision and clarity. The combination of our knowledgeable coaches and these advanced tools will give you a comprehensive understanding of your strengths and areas for improvement. From hitting mechanics to instant ball flight data, every facet of your game will be analyzed and fine-tuned, ensuring that you leave our camp a more polished and confident player. Another highlight of our camp is the showcase style workout that kicks off the first segment. This is where you get to shine and put your skills to the test in a competitive environment. Every metric imaginable will be tracked – from exit velocity and launch angle to hand speed and velocity from positional throws. This data-driven approach will not only showcase your abilities but also provide concrete feedback that can guide your ongoing development. Whether you're a seasoned player looking to refine your skills or a newcomer eager to learn the game's fundamentals, our camp offers something for everyone. We will also be employing as many college baseball coaches as possible to help instruct alongside our own staff.
Price: $150.00 ($100.00 due to sign up) $50.00 cash brought on the day of registration. Discounts: Price to do both camps will cost $275.00 ($225.00 due to sign up) $25.00 cash brought on the day of registration. Location: Patriots Point Athletics Complex; 85 Patriots Point Rd. CAMP 2: WINTER PITCHER/CATCHER SKILLS CAMP
Our camp is designed to provide unique instruction for both pitchers and catchers, elevating their skills to the next level. At our camp, we understand the importance of metrics in refining performance. For pitchers, our meticulously crafted program incorporates advanced metrics to analyze every aspect of their delivery – from velocity and spin rate to movement and release point. With the integration of TrackMan technology, pitchers receive real-time feedback during live bullpen sessions, allowing them to fine-tune their mechanics and optimize their pitches with precision. Catchers are not left behind in this pursuit of mastery. During the hitting portion of our camp, catchers have the unique opportunity to use the power of data with both Blast Motion and TrackMan. With Blast Motion, catchers receive instant insights into their swing mechanics, enabling them to make immediate adjustments for maximum power and consistency. TrackMan complements this experience by providing detailed metrics on bat speed, launch angle, and exit velocity, empowering catchers to refine their hitting strategies and enhance their offensive performance. A standout feature of our camp is the live bullpen session for both pitchers and catchers. This allows pitchers to showcase their refined skills while receiving real-time metrics on their pitches, fostering an environment of growth and development. Simultaneously, catchers gain valuable experience in handling different pitching styles and fine-tuning their defensive prowess while benefiting from data-driven insights that only TrackMan can provide. We will also be employing as many college baseball coaches as possible to help instruct alongside our own staff.
